Unexpected loss is something most people assume will never happen to them… until it does. When it comes to art, collectibles, and residential contents, underinsurance is often discovered only after a claim is filed, when it is too late to correct.

The good news: a little planning goes a long way.

Here are a few steps that can help you protect what you own before the unexpected happens:

✓ Make sure art and valuables are appraised every 3-5 years

✓ Have an inventory with photos of the valuables in your home

✓ Schedule your art and valuables on your insurance policy, it’s not very costly

✓ Save all relevant documents including purchase receipts on a cloud-based system

Unsure if your collection or household contents are adequately documented and insured, reach out to us at info@rothescherart.com - we are happy to help!
